A fascinating 3-sheet scale design. The blue background colour is unique to the trade ads, the struggling figures are from the ultra-rare huge 6-sheet poster (almost certainly alluding to Madelaine and Scotty's climactic struggle in the bell tower). Scarce.

Classic Brando portrait. The Don's gravelly voice was based on that of top mobster Frank Costello, the "Prime Minister of the Underworld", as heard in his testimony before the 1950 Senate hearings . The cat was a happy accident, a stray Brando found on the lot.
